How would you describe your work?
I like to explore and to erase the boundaries between photography and videography.
What inspires you?
The night is my preferred time. I am a Flaneur. Flanerie, simply put, is an art of strolling and looking. This activity makes me observe and discover the world in a creative way.
Can you speak about your process?
I like experimenting. Every project is a new adventure with different rules and style.
I adopted what the great photographer Harry Callahan said: " I think when you get a style you're sort of dead."
How did you become interested in art?
Since a young age I was interested in art and considered it as a nobel activity.
I was always attracted to photography but I didn't like the analog-chemical process so I started my artistic activity only after digital took over. I was at a relatively late age then.
Do you have any favorite artists, movies, books, or quotes?
I have many favorite artists but I don't follow anyone directly. Among the photographers
Lee Friedlander, Daido Moriyama (wabi sabi aesthetic) and more. Filmmakers I especially like are Jim Jarmush and Wim Wenders.
What advice do you have for younger artists?
"When you have to shoot, shoot - Don't talk"
